About the Author

Raised in a modern Orthodox home in Montreal, Canada, Kim learned to cook from her Moroccan-born mother and spent summers with family in Israel. A graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan, she has developed recipes for Food & Wine and Chile Pepper magazines and has worked as a private chef. In 2005, she launched Kim Kushner Cuisine and now travels the world teaching her wildly popular cooking classes. I happen to love all of Kim’s cookbooks, they have all helped me in the kitchen. Cooking, organizing don’t come easy to me and I’m definitely a recipe follower - and Kim’s books make me feel like an amazing chef and hostess! As a mom of 3 young school aged kids juggling their exhausting schedules - this book already has helped me with the week night meals that my husband and I can enjoy as well. It feels so nice to sit around the table together enjoying the food- not to mention the aroma in our home. If you sound anything like me - you must buy this book ! Kosher or not ! I love all of the pantry And cooking tips and I love opening my fridge and seeing thing so that I prepared ahead and use in different things. Thank you Kim for helping me become more organized in the kitchen and for sharing your beautiful recipes! Also - I’m not a reader - and enjoyed reading this book, cover to cover ! A must have - and perfect gift !

I give it 4 stars because not every recipe has a picture and I think that visual would be helpful. The pictures that are there are gorgeous and I am looking forward to trying out quite a few of the recipes. I would say out of Kim's 3 cookbooks, this one is by far the best. I was not so impressed with The New Kosher but this one has more recipes that fits my lifestyle.

This is a gorgeous book. Opening and reading it feels like a treasure trove of beautifully crafted recipes. Besides being beautiful and enjoyable to read, Kim's recipes are simple, approachable and tasty. I've bought each of her past cookbooks as gifts for friends and family & can not wait to share this one as well!

This cookbook is a must have in your kitchen. Amazing pictures and easy to follow recipes. One of the best kosher cookbooks! Absolute perfection! Kim Kushner creates easy to follow recipes but that taste so amazing. Can’t wait to try the one bowl Nutella brownies!

I’ve been a fan of Kim Kushner’s cookbooks and recipes over the years and anxiously awaited for her new cookbook to arrive. It did not disappoint at all! The cookbook is filled with beautiful recipes to feed my busy family as well as for entertaining company. They’re easy to follow and the couple of things I made when the book arrived were delicious!

I am a mother of 3 and have a full time job, but still have a desire to cook a meal for family and friends that not only looks stunning and tastes divine but that is also not too complicated - sounds impossible, right? I thought so too until i purchased Kim's first cookbook, the Modern Menu. The recipes are so easy to follow and delicious that i not only amaze myself but i leave my guests in awe. I now own all 3 books! I got the I heart kosher on Tuesday and all my meals this weekend are from the book! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

My books (yes, I ordered them for everyone in my family!) arrived and I don't even know which recipe to begin with! They all look amazing. Kim is the perfect example of the modern kosher lifestyle. She brings panache to everything she touches and makes kosher cuisine simple and sexy. Cannot wait to make these two dishes tonight! Yummy.
