The book has the stores of the life and death of several famous as well as relatively unknown warships of WWII.Every ship profiled has some claim to fame and the text explored it nicely but not exhaustively. The pictures are excellent in quality and quantity. Many of the pictures are not found elsewhere. I really enjoy this book and reread the stories often. Its not a deep historical research book but more of a good coffee table book of the lives and ends of several ships.

Book, Hardcover, Final VoyagesI found this book to be a most excellent read. I was suprised in that it far exceded what I had been expecting.
