I first read the devotional on the Bible app, and thus decided to purchase the books. I first read David's book and was amazing, so decided to get the box set and is one of the best books I have read. Each daily reading is short but packed with good advice. The devotional is good, the takeaway is good and the example prayer is also good. So far I have read David and Abraham's, and I can't wait to start with Jacob.I do recommend go day by day and not try to read several days in one sit because it is better if you let it sink and you think and meditate on it. I also recommend that when you start, you first read the Bible versicles that are the base of the day, and then read the devotional.

I've tried many devotionals... never stuck with them. After moving through "CLIMBING WITH ABRAHAM" (free on KINDLE) I bought the series. Just finished ESCAPING WITH JACOB and I am thrilled. Relates to our human ways and how God works in spite of us. Very well done series, and only two books in! I'd buy it again, and would happily give as a gift!

Just love this author's series on these great bible saints. You will love it too. Can be done as a morning or evening devotional or as a family devotional too. Love his insight.

Great Price for six devotionals.

Well written and an easy read. It brought to light a number of insights I had not seen before. Very enjoyable.

I was introduced to a portion of David Ramos devotionals in the Bible app! I liked it so much, that I searched for more devos by him and found portions of his other devos and read through those as well. When those were done, I found his free devotional in Amazon. That’s when I realized there was more than just a portion of each! I especially liked Crowned With David, and did a family devotional with my children using the the portion of it that I found in the Bible app.. the kids were disappointed when it was over!! Lol... So... I will definitely purchase all his devos in the near future.... especially Crowned with David. It encouraged me sooo much. What is super cool about these devotionals is that they are like a devotional and a commentary at the same time!! It’s like a bible study and not just a feel good theology of some kind...

This was a great book perfect timing for what is happening in my life right now. I do belt God let's is know what he's doing in our lives,and then we have to watch pray and act accordingly. Getting caught in the smaller battles along the way is a challenge,and needs prayers and support
